Classes here at RRC Polytech could not run without the help of all the amazing people who work in the building. They make sure our students are supported, that we have products in our labs, and that the day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Gail Walker
Educational Assistant
I started working at the School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts in 2013. I was a food service manager at the campus for 18 months and then became the Educational Assistant for the Culinary and Hospitality instructors. I love my job because I get to meet all the students that attend this program. I support the instructors, but I also get to support the students in whatever way I can.
With over 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I feel that I have a lot of knowledge to share. I will be instructing the mixology course and lunch restaurant practical for hospitality during the winter term.
I love to bake for fun and I love to travel. My favourite saying is “Work smarter, not harder!” You can follow me for all things PGI at @eagailwalker on Instagram.
